Clinical Specialties: Dr. BouHaidar is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the Assistant Director of Endoscopy. His clinical practice areas are pancreatico-biliary disorders, ERCP, EUS, and EUS with FNA, therapeutic endoscopy, GI cancer, and general gastroenterology. His research interests include pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, ERCP, EUS.  Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction and sphincter of Oddi manometry, Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), Double Balloon enteroscopy (DBE) for evaluation of the entire small intestine with the possibility of biopsy and treatment of small bowel diseases.

Dr BouHaidar received his medical degree from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 1993 and he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital, Boston University from 1993 to 1996. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at VCU Medical Center from 1996 to 1999. He held a faculty position at Balamand University, Beirut and was the Chief Endoscopy at Mount Lebanon Hospital; Beirut. He joined us in November 2003.
